Brad Paisley, Andrea Bocelli and Jennifer Lopez to Perform on "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show," Tuesday, April 9 And the Season's First "AT&T Spotlight Performance" to Be Featured Tuesday

"Episode 1604 & 1604A" - The competition continues as the 10 remaining celebrities celebrate "The Best Year of Their Life" through dance, MONDAY, APRIL 8 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET). Each couple will dance to a song of the celebrities' choosing that represents a memorable time or experience in their life. In addition, each celebrity is challenged to perform a brief solo during their performance.

On TUESDAY, APRIL 9 one couple will be eliminated on "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show" (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET). The show will feature music by country superstar Brad Paisley who will perform his most recent No. 1 hit, "Southern Comfort Zone." And in their first national television appearance together, international superstars Andrea Bocelli and Jennifer Lopez perform a sensual new rendition of the classic Latin song, "Quizas, Quizas, Quizas," featured on Bocelli's new album "Passione." Also on the results show, the female Pro and Troupe dancers perform a special opening number.

"AT&T Spotlight Performance" returns on Tuesday featuring an individual whose life has been changed by dance. The first "Spotlight Performance" of the season features 17-year-old Brilynn Rakes. Rakes, a native of San Diego, was born with nystagmus and cone dystrophy, conditions that have caused her to become legally blind. However her circumstances have not impeded her passion for life; she is an accomplished dancer who has won several awards and was recently honored with a full scholarship to Julliard's summer workshop. Rakes will be partnered with her favorite Pro, Derek Hough. The couple will dance a beautiful routine to "Stars" by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.

Viewers may cast their votes for their favorite teams via phone on Monday night during and up to 60 minutes after the "Dancing with the Stars" performance shows. AT&T customers may also vote by texting the word "VOTE" and entering the number that corresponds to the team they want to support (message and data rates may apply). Online voting at www.ABC.com is open from the start of each episode on the East Coast and closes at 11:00 a.m., ET/8:00 a.m., PT on Tuesday mornings. Additionally, fans can again vote on Facebook www.facebook.com/dancingwiththestars. A custom Facebook app sponsored by AT&T will let fans vote, share who they voted for and why, as well as see who friends voted for. They can also access the "Dancing with the Stars" Social Scene page, and the "AT&T Spotlight Performance" and Casting Call from the app.

Backstage at 'Dancing With the Stars' with Kym Johnson, Week 3: I Still Can't Believe Lisa Vanderpump Was Almost Eliminated

"I think Ingo and I did a really good job last week. It was a difficult quick-step that I gave him and he did a great job with it. I feel like we have really good scores and Ingo is performing phenomenally. He is taking the critiques from the judges very well."

DWTS PROM NIGHT

Posted by TeamIngo_DWTS on March 30, 2013 at 2:20 PM Comments comments (0)

For the first time in DWTS history, the ballroom will celebrate Prom Night! The remaining couples will dance not only for the judges and your votes, but also for the opportunity to be named Prom King and Prom Queen!

You can help select the King and Queen of the night by using Twitter. Here's how:

Just Tweet hash tag “prom” followed by the first name of the male star or female star of your choice. Don't forget to select your favorite King and Queen. Twitter selection for our King and Queen will be open until Tuesday morning at 11 AM ET/8 AM PT. The hashtag should read #prom and then the first name of the celebrity. For example #promandy #promwynonna

The male and female Stars who each receive the most number of tweets will be named Prom King and Queen for the night and each be awarded two extra points for the night.

There will be a mix of dances performed - from the elegant Viennese Waltz, to the fast-paced Cha Cha and Jive, to a sexy Samba and Rumba, a fierce Paso Doble and a Contemporary dance. The couples have their work cut out for them this week!

Here are some the songs you'll hear Monday night - were any of them played at your prom?

"Do You Think I'm Sexy" - by Rod Stewart

"Footloose" by Kenny Loggins

"Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen

"Y.M.C.A" by the Village People

Be sure to tune in Monday at 8PM ET/PT for the performances, and Tuesday at 9PM ET/PT for the results show!

Behind-the-Scenes of 'Dancing With the Stars' With Kym Johnson,

Week 2: I'm Nervous For Elimination Night!

For my performance with Ingo, I thought it was really good for our first go! Ingo did a fantastic job, especially having contemporary, which is a different style for both of us. We have been working really hard on our next dance. This week we’ve got the quick-step!

It’s going to be important for Ingo to maintain a great frame and posture tonight, since this is a ballroom style of dance. My goal for this whole season is to make Ingo shine and allow him to bring the best out of himself. So far, I think he is succeeding.

Hey Team Ingo,

If you can get http://Twitter.com/teamingo_dwts to at least 3,000 followers by tomorrow nights DWTS show, I will host a contest. The contest will be about Ingo Rademacher. It will be Q&A trivia about his life, career, and hobbies. There will be a SURPRISE PRIZE at the end of the contest. If the account does not reach 3,000 followers by the beginning of tomorrow's show we will try again next week with a new follow requirement. This contest and prize takes time and money to put everything together so I will only do this if I know #TeamIngo has lots of supporters voting for them.

Behind the 'DWTS' Scene With Kym Johnson, Week 1: We Tan While We Rehearse!

For the 16th season of Dancing With the Stars, pro dancer Kym Johnson will be sharing the inside scoop with Life & Style readers! In the first edition of her weekly blog, Kym talks about how excited she was to find out that Ingo Rademacher was her partner, how great he is at dancing and what we can expect when the new celebs take the dance floor. Check back every week for more scoop from Kym!

I am so excited for this new season to begin! We’ve got all new celebrities that haven’t danced before starting from scratch and it’s really thrilling. I’ve heard all of the stars are planning to bring their A-game! I think the standards are going to be set very from all the contestants.

The best part about prepping for the new season was being able to have some of my first rehearsals in beautiful Hawaii, where my partner, Ingo Rademacher, lives. It’s been so amazing. We were actually able to fit in some fun activities while we’ve been here. So we rehearsed about five hours a day and then we went and jumped in the ocean afterwards. I even learned how to paddle board! We danced right on the sand and got to work on our tans — a DWTS must!

I was so excited when I found out that I was paired with Ingo. He’s a fellow Aussie, so we’ve been talking in Aussie slang. The producers don’t know what we’re talking about and it’s been really fun. In addition to being a blast to work with, Ingo has already proved himself to be an incredible partner. He is picking things up very quickly. He’s got a natural talent and I’m really impressed with how he’s doing, plus he looks good! He’s handsome and he can move! So we’re definitely off to a good start.

Since I won’t be able to see the other couples dance until tonight, Ingo and I haven’t been able to size up our competition just yet. But I am looking forward to seeing the other stars dance! I think Kellie Pickler is going to be adorable and a crowd favorite. I also think Sean Lowe from The Bachelor is going to be able to swoon the ladies. He seems like a really nice guy and I’m sure he will come across well.

Also, Lisa Vanderpump. I am a big fan of hers! I love watching the Housewives. She’s really elegant and graceful and I think that she’s one to watch, for sure. I think fans of the show are going to be excited to see how she’s going to dance and I think she’s going to surprise a lot of people.

One person I am going to miss this season is Maks Chmerkovskiy. But I’m sure he’s going to be around because Val is on the show, so I’m positive he’s going to be at the shows supporting his brother. Maks is a part of Dancing With the Stars and always will be.

I’m really looking forward to this season. Everyone should tune in tonight to see what Ingo and I have up our sleeves. We’re definitely going to surprise a lot of people with our routine. It’s contemporary, so it’s going to be very different. For a first dance, it’s pretty good. I have a feeling this is going to be a spectacular season!

Xoxo,

Kym

Tune in to see Kym and Ingo rock out on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. Be sure to follow Kym's new post Mondays on Lifeandstylemag.com, and you can follow her on Twitter @kym_johnson.
